Airtel Effect:Jio Launch new recharge plan compared with Airtel’s Rs 698 and Vodafone Idea’s Rs 699 plans
Telecom major Reliance Jio recently launched a new prepaid recharge plan to its existing range of recharge plans in the Indian market. The latest prepaid recharge plan features 3GB of high-speed data every day and comes with a validity of 84 days. The quarterly prepaid plan sits with the Rs 599 and Rs 555 plans which are already currently available.
The two plans also bring high-speed data of 2GB and 1.5GB per day, however, Jio has also featured unlimited on-network calls and also brings 100 SMS messages per day. Other than that, Jio is also providing 3000 free minutes of non-Jio calls.
Naturally, a comparison is in order. The latest recharge plan by Jio goes head to head with Airtel and Vodafone Idea. the prices of the plans are lower as compared to Jio with existing benefits.
Airtel vs Jio vs Vodafone Idea
For Airtel, the telecom operator has two plans in its lineup which features a validity of 84 days. However, the Rs 698 plan comes with 2GB of data per day for 84 days, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS messages per day. Other benefits include a subscription to Wynk Music and Airtel Xstream Premium, Rs 150 cashback on FASTag, anti-virus protection, free Hellotunes, and also free online courses at Shaw Academy for 28 days.
Vodafone also has a similarly priced prepaid plan – Rs 699 prepaid plan which offers double data benefits to users. The prepaid plan brings 4GB daily data (Instead of 3GB data per day) for a period of 84 days. The pack also includes unlimited calling facility and 100 daily SMS along with a subscription to ZEE5 and Vodafone Play.
