Two Kashmiri Drivers from South Kashmir Missing for Last 3 Days- Families Worried for Their Safety

Two Kashmiri youth who are residents of Shopian have been missing for the last three days while they were on the way to Rajhastan with a loaded truck.

The family of one of the two speaking to The Kashmiriyat over phone said that Shakir Ahmed Ganie resident of Chattipora Shopian and Akeel Yusuf Lone resident of Hurpora has been missing for the last three days along with their truck bearing the registration number Jk22 B 7778.

Mohammed Yusuf Lone father of Aqeel said, “We have tried to ring their phone constantly, but they have been untraceable for the last three days.”

The family said that they have lodged a missing report about the two youth in the Concerned Police station.

A Police official upon being contacted said that he was “on a round” and will call us back with the details.
