Airtel has two prepaid plans priced at Rs 249 and Rs 298 giving 1.5GB and 2GB data respectively for a validity of 28 days. Airtel users can get a Rs 50 discount for recharging the Rs 298 prepaid plan through the Airtel Thanks app. Currently, the Airtel Thanks app shows that Rs 298 and Rs 398 unlimited prepaid plans are eligible for the discount coupons. Thus, Airtel users can get the same benefits for a monthly discount of Rs 50. These vouchers are not unlimited but there are plenty enough to last for over a year with 40 redeemable coupons.
Airtel Rs 249 prepaid plan:
The prepaid plan offers 1.5GB data per day with truly unlimited calls and 28 days validity with 100SMS per day.
Airtel Rs 298 prepaid plan:
This plan gives 2GB of data per day with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. The additional benefits of this plan include an Airtel XStream subscription and Wynk music with access to free online courses and Rs 150 cashback on Fastag. Moreover, this plan gives access to Bharti Axa life insurance.
Users getting a recharge from the Airtel Thanks app get a discount of Rs 50 and 2GB additional data for this prepaid plan. So this plan can cost users Rs 248 with 2GB additional data. Thus, Airtel users can get more benefits for the Rs 298 prepaid plans which will come for Rs 248 after the discount.
Airtel in its offer details notes that the discount is auto-applied before users make the payment. However, if Airtel Thanks users do not get a prompt to redeem these discount offers they can open the Airtel Thanks app and select My Coupons. Users will see the number of coupons available giving a Rs 50 discount. From here, they should select Redeem.
Airtel recently started offering 1.5GB daily data with its Rs199 prepaid plan to select customers in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka telecom circles. The plan also offers unlimited calls for 24 days with 100 SMS with free Hellotunes, Wynk Music, and access to Airtel XStream.
Moreover, Airtel offers free data coupons with recharges starting from Rs 249. It gives vouchers with 2GB data with Rs 219, Rs 249 prepaid plans, Rs 298 prepaid plans, 4GB data with plans priced at Rs399, Rs 449, Rs 558, and 6GB data with Rs 598 and Rs 698 prepaid plans.
