An announcement is going to be made soon by the central government on increasing the dearness allowance of the employees. It is expected that this dearness allowance, which will be implemented from January 1, will be announced before Holi.
Apart from this, news is coming to give another relief to the government employees. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government is preparing to implement the Seventh Pay Commission, for which Rs 6,000 crore has been earmarked. Earlier it was discussed that the government will implement the new rule from January 1.

Karnataka To Implement 7th Pay Commission Soon, Earmarks Rs 6,000 Crore
As the Karnataka government is planning to implement 7th pay commission, Chief Minister Besavaraj Bommai on Friday said his administration has earmarked Rs 6,000 crore for its implementation.
Giving details, the chief minister said the 7th Pay Commission report would be submitted by a committee headed by former chief secretary Sudhakar Rao regarding the revision of the salaries of state government employees.
After presenting the State Budget for FY 2023-24, the chief minister said any additional amount required for the implementation will be provided in the supplementary budget.
He further added that the reports of the 7th pay commission will be implemented from FY 2023-24.
“Whether the committee presents its interim or final report, the state government will take immediate action. Since the grants have been reserved in the budget, there will be no problem with the implementation,” he said.
The rule will be applicable from the new financial year
CM Bommai said that according to the Seventh Pay Commission, the report of change in the salary of the employees will be presented by the committee headed by former Chief Secretary Sudhakar Rao.
After presenting the state budget for the financial year 2023-24, the CM said that the additional amount would be provided in the supplementary budget.
He stressed that the report of the Seventh Pay Commission will be implemented from the new financial year itself. This is a blow for those who were expecting it to be implemented from January 1.
