26000 Posts In Various Departments -10th, 12th & Graduate Can Apply – Check Details Here
The Government Jammu and Kashmir has identified more than 26,000 vacancies in various departments for filling up in the current year(2023) including Gazetted, non-Gazetted and Class-IV. The said vacancies will be referred to JKSSB and JKPSC within few days or months.The majority of the vacancies identified for recruitment are in non-Gazetted cadre and Class-IV while rest will be for the Gazetted Officers.

Meanwhile, Various Government departments carried out a detailed exercise to identify vacancies in different cadres and the figure has come around 26,000 vacancies in different cadres including Gazetted, non-Gazetted and Class-IV. However, in some departments the exercise is still on and will be updated within some days.
As per Sources the posts will be referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) and Public Service Commission (PSC), Following clearance by the Government.
The recruitment agencies like JKSSB and JKPSC will initiate exercise only after receiving a detailed note from the Government for filling up of said vacancies. The sources said that the “Number of the vacancies might go slightly up as some of the departments could revise the list within few days.

The Government had asked all departments few days back to identify vacancies and forward them to the General Administration Department by March 2023. The General Administration Department will refer 26,000 vacancies to the PSC and JKSSB by April 1 2023 and the mentioned two recruitment agencies will initiate the recruitment process that will be completed in calendar year 2023.
