249 Teachers Transferred in Baramulla District

Baramulla: The Office of the Chief Education Officer, Baramulla, has issued an official order (No. 190 – CEO/BLA of 2025) confirming the transfer and posting of 249 teachers with immediate effect. This action follows the approval from the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, and is aimed at ensuring administrative efficiency and academic improvement.

The order outlines the following key directives:

  1. All transferred teachers are considered relieved and must report to their new postings immediately.
  2. All DDOs (Drawing and Disbursing Officers) are required to forward the necessary documents, including the LPCs and service books of the transferred teachers, to their new postings.
  3. No kind of leave will be granted to transferred officials; failure to comply will be treated as unauthorized absence.
  4. Transfer orders must be strictly followed. Requests for modifications will only be considered in exceptional cases.
  5. Before executing the transfer, DDOs must confirm that the teachers hold legitimate appointments.
  6. Concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers must submit compliance reports to the respective Zonal Education Officers for onward submission to higher authorities.
