Details of the Suspensions:
  1. Mohammad Rafiq:
    • Position: Teacher at Government Primary School Gagrot.
    • Reason for Suspension: Rafiq was accused of participating in an election campaign and soliciting votes for a political party. A complaint was lodged with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kotranka, supported by video and photographic evidence. Following an investigation, the ADC confirmed the violation and reported it to the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Rajouri, leading to Rafiq’s suspension and attachment to the CEO’s office pending further investigation.
  2. Shahpal Khan:
    • Position: Teacher at Government Primary School Demote Jamola.
    • Reason for Suspension: Khan faced suspension due to habitual absenteeism and failure to comply with government orders, including biometric attendance. The Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) reported that Khan frequently missed work and disregarded directives, creating administrative challenges. Consequently, he was suspended and attached to the ZEO office in Baljarralan.

Further Actions: The Principals of several Government Higher Secondary Schools in the area have been instructed to conduct thorough investigations into these matters and submit detailed reports within a week. This underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining discipline and adherence to the MCC during election.
